Bioinformatics and Epigenetics Research 

Genetics is the code of life, encrypted in the DNA molecule.

Epigenetics is the process of the decoding, expression, and manifestation of that genetic code. 

None of the above sentences are the exact definition of the words and are only one of their casual descriptions. 

While strict accuracy, record-keeping, and laser-sharp scientific vision are the only acceptable attributes accepted in our labs, there is no room for arrogance, bias, or skewed attachment to any ideas at the East Ontario regenerative lab. 

Exposure to expensive equipment such as microscopes, PCR, sonicators, and microfuge requires skills, discipline, and responsibility for perfect upkeep and longevity of use and sharing, and that demands military dry ordinance in running the labs. 

Meanwhile, creativity, free-thinking outside the box, and courage to try unchartered grounds call for a relaxed and fun environment. 

Projects are destined to produce results sometimes in years or sometimes in days. A steady pace and adherence to routines are demanded and enforced here.

A day earlier in getting results in projects that may take years or decades, can still mean many lives saved. Those lives can be of mothers of small infants who need her till they grow up or fathers or children of people like you and us; therefore every single day of reaching our faraway goals mean saving many lives, relieving much pain, and sharing our blessings of happiness and health with more people.  

Looking for a graduate project to add to your CV or pursue a degree, quick fame, and employability? The regenerative research at East Ontario is NOT the place for you. 

If you are passionate to see that your efforts, one day at the end of it all, relieve pain from one person or assist in curing one illness, and that feels like a reward enough for you, then every floor tile of  East Ontario takes pride when you step on it.
